This was stopped when a group of zombies successfully broke through the Phalanx Wall. Spider-Man and his group were taken into Ennow custody and planned to turn into techno-organic beings via the Transmode Virus. After being attacked by a horde of zombies, they were rescued by the Ennows, a community of robots and cyborgs that lived within the Phalanx Wall. While Spider-Man and his group were riding on Nana over the Phalanx Wall, they were attacked by zombified members of Alpha Flight, and Nana was knocked out the air, forcing it to crash. Spider-Man decided to help Franklin and Valeria search for the hive mind since they were determined to do so.
Fortunately, Spider-Man was rescued by Blade the Vampire Hunter who overheard Franklin and Valeria talk about finding the Respawned's hive mind and asked to join the group. Spider-Man tried finding them but got ambushed by a zombified Moonstone. When Valeria and Franklin get the idea of finding their parents to cure them by searching for the Respawned's hive mind, Moonstone was motivated to leave the group, forcing Spider-Man to scold them that there was no cure. Forge tried to reason with Beast, but Beast killed him, angering Spider-Man who then decapitated Beast with piano wire. After a confrontation with the Deadheads, the Deadheads' master, Beast appeared. While exploring the mansion, Spider-Man and Forge found some people that were being held prisoner so they could be sacrificed by Deadhead, people who worshiped and cooperated with the Respawned. He was against this due to danger it posed, but Forge was determined to go the mansion with or without Spider-Man. He also had to make ethically-questionable choices in order to keep Franklin and Valeria safe that weighed heavily on his conscious.Īfter fighting a horde of zombies, Spider-Man learned that Forge had planned to go to the abandoned Xavier Mansion for supplies. Because of all the zombies about, Spider-Man's spider-sense constantly went off, giving him headaches that required medication to keep in check. Spider-Man also reprogrammed a Sentinel named Nana to look after Franklin and Valeria. Years later, Spider-Man, Franklin, and Valeria remained together and worked with the Flerken Chewie, the former villain Moonstone, and former X-Man Forge to survive the zombie-infested world. Įventually, the Respawned wiped out nearly all of humankind. Spider-Man chose to keep this a secret from Franklin to avoid traumatizing him further. Warlock created a replacement techno-organic body for Franklin, and Strange transferred Franklin's consciousness into the new body. After Spider-Man got upset, Warlock offered to help Franklin with help from Strange. He asked Doctor Strange to help Franklin, but Strange stated that he couldn't. Spider-Man later reached a safehouse being used by several heroes and villains. Invisible Woman bit Franklin, but after taunting Spider-Man over Mary Jane, Spider-Man was motivated to rescue Franklin and Valeria and flee to safety. While he was unable to find Mary Jane, he managed to locate Franklin and Valeria but were then attacked by a zombified Fantastic Four who planned to zombify the three. Spider-Man managed to avoid falling to his death.
However, the Fantasti-Car was knocked out of the air by the zombified Vulture and Human Torch, the latter leaving a burn on Spider-Man's face. When the Respawned invaded New York City, Spider-Man fled with Franklin, Valeria, and Mary Jane Watson in a Fantasti-Car. Ī while later, intelligent zombies called the Respawned invaded Earth while using Galactus as a spaceship and the location of their hive mind. Spider-Man watched over Franklin and Valeria Richards while their parents and the rest of the Fantastic Four joined the Avengers and the X-Men investigate the corpse of Galactus. Spider-Man's history is presumably similar to his Earth-616 counterpart's.
